On Sunday, September 17th Florida Organic Growers will be kicking off our inaugural Organic Food & Farming Summit by coordinating a number of organic farm tours in and around Gainesville, FL. Visitors can take a tour of a multitude of operations to learn about best practices, farm operation, tools and equipment, and much more

Workshops, Keynote luncheon & trade show

Early bird rate: $ 75

Monday September 18th of the Summit will include a variety of focused educational workshops that address important and emerging issues in organic farming. This will be accompanied by day two of the trade show that highlights diverse resources and programs within the organic ag community. Monday pass includes a ticket to our luncheon, trade show pass, and full access to Monday workshops

Beyond the soil course

Early bird rate: $ 25

This day-long session on organic production will consist of presentations by representatives from SSARE, IFAS, Florida Organic Growers, USDA, NRCS and others on various relevant topics to new & transitioning organic producers. Presenters will highlight existing programs and projects and the resources available to assist organic farmers. Take home resources and lunch are included

Food Safety Grower Training COURSE
